Here's a skin i just made. I love it. Thank god for "Bevel and Emboss" for the layer effect. You can play around with it so much. Cool text can be made as well with it. If you don't have Photoshop, well, that's too bad.
A woodie looks like this:
Here's the skin:
The tanks:
I just regret the brain-holding dome. The maroon part looks sloppy. Other than that, I think it's better than my Fastskin.
I like it, nice colors, great concept. GJ lining up the "bumper". The "brain holding globe" is a tough spot, there are parts of the tank that warp the image, and that's probably the worst part.
I'm glad some newcomers have taken up an interest in skinning. Addicting, ain't it?
^ well, yours don't count- your're already awesome. I guess i should have said "this is the best skin to come from a newbie in a while".
EDIT: Didn't see that you have photoshop. Try click, holding shift, the clicking again with the paintbrush. It will give a you good like from point a to point b
Pardon my rudeness, I cannot abide useless people.
For this skin, I again took an iTunes screenie from the visualizer and put it on the template. Then, I used the Plastic Rap filter on Photoshop (CS1) and Diffuse Glow. The actual iTunes snapshot had no white spots except for those lightning-type streaks you see through the middle of the skin. The white, blurry blotches in the middle of the skins are from the Plastic Rap, and the graininess and dotted edges are from the Diffuse Glow. This skin, I think, is definately better than the green/black one I did before, but my first Fastskin is the best.
