well first of heres a good place but generally follow that tutorial givin by LGM you will have a head start on making the skin just using the skills mentioned on the tank template

ummmmmm the tutorials are very hard so ill i need is a picture tutorial like the 1 PGG did.

First, go through all of the tutorials in the "Basic" section that LGM posted. Then be sure to check out these two:

That will give you the necessary skillset to start making some half decent skins. remember, you don't have to shove everything you've learned into one skin, but maybe make some lines going across the side, and you the same effects as the floating text. Be willing to experiment, and spend MORE than half an hour trying different things.
