Mission Loader Problem

I was having a problem with my OSX mission loader on my dedicated server. Instead of loading the missions in order, it just loads the 1st mission over and over!

Here is the mission loader Prefs file:

when you change and save the missionloaderpreferences.cs file you also have to delete the missionloaderpreferences.cs.dso file for the changes to take effect.

DO NOT DELETE the missionloadermain.cs.dso

I tried that, but it still didn't fix the problem.

Yep, MissionLoader always had a problem with Macs. Works fine on Windows. Somebody needs to forward this script to a Mac.

If I remember right, there never was any problem with macs... I don't know tough... Can't help you anyhow, lost the source for the script long ago <_<...

There doesn't seem to be any problem tough... Perhaps it's just it being a mac

There is no problem with this script running on Mac's. I used it for a long long time and it worked just fine.

The only thing I notice is it did sometimes repeat the first mission because the actual first mission was launched via an Apple script/Terminal.

Then the mission loader script would kick in and start running the missions. So sometimes it would play the 1st mission twice.

So your'e just saying we have to wait for the script to reload the same map a couple of times before missions begin cycling?

Yes, but it shouldn't be more than two times. You may want to log in and do a /restart and see if it advances to the first mission in the mission loader preferences file. If you do it two or three times and the same mission comes up, I'd say there is a problem with the mission loader. I'd suggest removing the loader and the line in the main.cs file.

Start again.

Are you starting the floodmesa or flood hills? I know If I started the server with any other map than the first one on the loader list in your case floodmesa, It would run the same map twice. Then mission loader would kick in.
