if i remember correctly pai ran it back then.
players signed up based on region. i believe there was a Euro team, a Canadian team, and two US teams. games were played among 4 types (indi scrum, team scrum, indi bm, and team bm).
i do remember scheduling was problematic as was attendance. its a good idea...but a lofty one. good luck.

take it from the ole timer here
Deej and a couple others ran/organized it
it was country based, teams were created for each country and then competed as team or individuals.
teams were submitted with no changes allowed or substitutions, only people on a country team could compete in individual events
some events examples were team scrum, individual scrum, team battle, team invidual battle, and racing
it was held on a saturday to accomodate all the different time zones/countries
and , oh yes , I took gold for best individual light tank grin

Like I've said - I'm interested too but there is no way I'd be able to pull this off by myself, especially with school starting soon. However, if a few folks would like to help me out and start putting ideas into actions, I'd be more than willing to chip in what I can .
@ Scyth: Yea, thats a good idea too.
