How do I make a profile pick? like Taylos is a big 42.

That would be part of your signature... if you want it below your posts.

Go to the User Control Panel and click on the "Profile" tab. Then choose "Edit signature"

Paste in the code for the image you want in your sig, but keep it small. I think taller than an avatar is too tall. If it's too tall, it wastes space in the forums... maybe you'd rather put the image in as an avatar... like this one-

wow, i'm glad you chose my avatar out of everyone's....

to change your avatar, go to the user control panel (it's at the top under board index) then go to profile. press edit avatar and type in the URL of the place you're getting your avatar, or choose a file from your computer. if it says it's to big when you submit, try downloading the file and using a program on your computer to shrink it (i downloaded my 42 and shrunk it with preview for mac). keep making it smaller and smaller until the website lets you have it.

to change your signature, go to the same place, but press edit signature. type in your signature, and if you want images put in the link to the image and select it. then press the Img button. it will then be an image in your siggy. try not to have huge pics (as LGM said).

The max size for avatars is 125 pixels X 125 pixels. For macs, there's a nice image program called GraphicConverter. I posted a link to it in the freeware forum. Great for simple graphic scaling and format conversions.
