It lets your computer get MORE data from the server. If anything, it would make your game run a bit smoother and less laggy.

The original settings are:

$pref::Net::PacketRateToClient = "10";
$pref::Net::PacketRateToServer = "16";
$pref::Net::PacketSize = "200";

Compare that with:

$pref::Net::PacketRateToClient = "32";
$pref::Net::PacketRateToServer = "32";
$pref::Net::PacketSize = "450";

You see how it's allowing larger packets and at a more frequent rate?

Check your firewall again, I am assuming that it is just your computer is slow. There is nothing you can do about that, maybe go online and check your interenet speed, there are many free tests online.  If that seems slow look into another provider, or maybe a new computer. Not sure, but I highly assume it is your internet connection or the computer, and NOT thinktanks.

thx thx thx thx! i think ill look into my internet and my computer speed. i allready checked my firewall. i hope its not my computer speed because im not buying another one -_- do u think a CPU upgrade could do the trick?
