lil problem with pics

I use http://xs.to/
You choose you image
(resize if need be)
when its loaded you got the direct link and
post it on PTT2 with the img stuff

There's nothing like when are you born its just upload and your done

I have posted what is below in another thread which I have seen you have read, and yet you make another thread asking the same question to which you will always get the same answers because there is only one answer. We are trying to help but what people have posted in this thread could not be clearer. So here again are the methods for posting pictures and please will you delete your test posts!!!


To post a pic in a thread either:

1) upload your pic to a hosting site like http://imageshack.us , http://xs.to or http://www.imagecave.com or if you have a photobucket or similar account, then once uploaded copy the link address which will look something like this:

Paste it into a thread and highlight the whole address, then click on the Img button above, it will then look like this:

When you post the thread the image will appear.



2) The other way is to use PTT2, beneath the posting box is a tab which says upload attachment, click that and browse to you pic and upload it, but remember you have a limited amount of space available. I prefer to use method 1

it didnt work...... the C: is that same as http and if it is how do i get http to come up on the upload bar

Bla that link you are typing in is a image but not the proper link. Did you get it open in your web browser and copied the link that showed up? You are using your web browser to view a photo which will work when doing html and xml coding when making web sites but not on posting images. You need a proper common link like:

http://www.yourimagelink.com/

EDIT: So upload to your image site like:
imageshack
photobucket (Tons more)

And you will see a source link and just copy that and paist in the correct image format. Be sure to get the code correct or the html or other web coding will not read it and it will come out like your other trys.
