ThinkTanks player's Speed Wave

Post by LGM »

Speedtest.net has a new feature... it lets registered users start a Speed Wave.

Take a speed test and have it added to the results...

Grantham, PA is my speed test location. I have to say, an ethernet cord really improves connection. Despite a couple lag waves per game that only I experienced, I had no issues ping-wise. Hopefully my wireless connection at home (where I am headed this very second) this summer can be as fast.

I'm curious , do many people play TT using a wireless connection?
If so , how well does it work?
We have a new computer on the way and this one will get bumped to a wireless connection.

@Baba, since I got my macbook for school, I've been on wireless at home (which was all of last summer and the times I came home). We have Verizon and it's pretty good--you have to be in a good range to the router or you get some serious lag. Otherwise, the connection is pretty strong--no lagouts.
