I saw this commentary/ post on Yahoo news while reading a report regarding Obama tax cuts.

Whattya think?:

When are these politicians in government going to realize that using tax dollars to spur the economy is like a starving dog eating his tail. The only thing that will spur the economy is PRODUCTION and laws that level the playing field for American companies. Production creates jobs. People with jobs pay taxes. The trickle-down theory is not a theory. It is an undisputable fact proven by the very existence of the most powerful country in the world that the politicians and their socialistic ideas are trying to destroy. The liberalism nationally and our liberal foreign policy COULD NOT EXIST if it weren't for the success of the trickle down concept. Liberalism is a negative byproduct of a successful capitalistic society. Stop supporting the rest of the world with my hard earned money and use it to support American business. Use it to destroy the drug cartels that are killing our children. Legalize marijuana and tax the hell out of it. Use it to rebuild our infrastructure. Stop using my tax dollars to support countries that should be supporting themselves. Stop giving my tax dollars to every third world puppet that threatens world peace. We are being sucked dry by our own government and their "support everybody" philosophy. Nobody ever gave me a dime. I worked at everything from cleaning toilet bowls to running a jack hammer to earn money. Supporting people who are unemployed is only adding to the problem. "Why should I get off my @#$% and get a job if the American taxpayer is going to pay me to do nothing?" HELLO! Does anybody in Government have an ounce of COMMON SENSE??? Maybe if they had to actually earn a living instead of legislating a cozy life for themselves, they would need common sense to survive like the rest of us.
I was at a street corner the other day while 4 state employees and 2 state vehicle were replacing 8 road signs needing a short ladder to reach. When I came back to the intersection 4 hours later they were still there "working". As a former laborer, mechanical engineer and ultimately a selfemployed businesman, I can tell you that at 67 years old I could have done this job by myself in about 1 1/2 hours. Why does it take 4 state employees and 2 state vehicles to do a 1 1/2 manhour job a minimum of 16 manhours?? Because they are not paying for it. The American taxpayer is. The whole system is designed to support those who don't have the dignity to do an honest days work for an honest wage. All in the name of LIBERALISM.

I think third option is dumb. Although I am not a fan of liberalism, there are holes in his argument you can drive a Jupiter through.
