Ideas to help Revive TT

so, I've seen a few posts with interest in reviving TT again, I would love to help out and bring those good times back.

Legally, idk what can be done to simply spread the game since the original installer no longer works since the original servers are long gone, and spreading the modified full version may be against the law (but not entirely sure). However, would it be possible to green light it on steam as a fully F2P game? or set it for a low price, and proceeds would go to the rightful owner? maybe renew interest in the game by the devs?

I also can stream without performance issues, as I have a monster of a computer, and i can build viewer's interest of the game. in fact, I recently had someone ask about the game and wanting to play it. read comments here

We need more excitement building events like TBML, PSL, rollerball, CTF etc. to get blood pumping and adrenaline flowing, and with me livestreaming the events, it's the only way to continue to show just how much of a gem this game is.. I mean, let's face it, this game had such a heated and competitive nature, it could easily have been an E-sport type game if the Devs had the drive, ambition and care behind such a dedicated fan base.

Lastly, maybe create a Facebook Fan page for the game, and build up more interest for it.

what are your thoughts?

I like the FB idea
I just converted some PSL Chamipionship games for you tube you might use
If you use MS cloud aka live mail I can set up a share or upload them here.

Also note the GAME EXISTS in Windows form for $6.95 on Shockwave just use the search function.
AND the GarageGames master server is up most of the time.
As far as MAC Cloud knows a workaround for the OS issue (if I'm not mistaken) but you would need
a copy of the original game for MAC

I have one server running only stock missions for Stock players - although the bots are viscious
This way newbies aren't immediately turned off by servers they cant get into.

I've setup a Discord channel, it's a VOIP service and messaging service - a bit like TeamSpeak. We have a few people in the channel, use this link if u want to join: https://discord.gg/H7fGD6E

As for a copy of the game for Windows it can be downloaded here, along with the latest upgrade packs for PC + Mac with instructions as well: https://app.box.com/shared/ubdezmv0l6

Like Rooster says Cloud can provide copies of the game for Mac and I can as well if anyone needs help :)

drsawbones setup a Twitter a while back, the account is still there: https://twitter.com/ThinkTanks
I did make a Facebook Page ages ago but, I never did much else with it: https://www.facebook.com/ThinkTanks-647016988696910/

Btw, loving that PC Cadc!

Thanks man, it's my baby! :tankerhappy1:

anyways, one other suggestion I have, is to announce the free download of the game along with the Dazzle upgrade pack.

I mean, the Dazzle upgrade pack is everywhere, kinda hard to miss, but the game download is nowhere to be seen without someone giving you the link :|
