My sister made a poem about war.

The more I hear,the more i see.
I begin to realize what war can be,
It's not just a deadly dispute in history,
it's brutel,disastrous,thats what i now see,



IT claims so many soldiers lives,
It's merciless,it heeds no cries,
Of sorrow,as a soldier dies,
That's what I come to realize.


So much blood,tears,sweat,pain,
With nothing more than a will to gain,
No such thought for others as bullets rain,
And mutilation abounds in bodies slain,


The thundering missiles,the blasting guns,
Think of all those courageous ones,
Who stood and fought,did not turn to run,
Who bore the heat of the blistering sun.


I think of all those soldiers dead,
Who fought courageously,none of them fled,
And now they lie there,the ground is their bed,
We take them for granted,it fills me with dread.


So pray for the troops,keep them in thought,
Remember the ones who for freedom sought,
So many of them have with bravery fought,
Be thankful for everything,and love as we ought.
