First check to see if you have the
Mac OS X firewall active.
1. Open System Preferences.
2. Choose Sharing.
3. Click the Firewall tab.
4. If it says "Firewall Off", skip to the router settings. I leave my Mac OS X firewall off because by default the router is a firewall.
5. If the firewall is on, Click New.
6. From the Port Name pop-up menu, choose Other.
7. In the UDP Port Number(s) field, type in: 28000-28050
8. In the Description field type in: ThinkTanks
9. Click OK.
ROUTER SETTINGS
If you want to see your router's address, open "Network" from the System Preferences panel. It will be 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1.
1. Open your browser
2. Type 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 into the address bar. It will take you to your router.
3. When it asks for your name and password, type in ADMIN for name and leave password blank.
4. Once inside you'll need to open up Port 28000. (Better yet, open up 28000-28050). There's too many different routers out there to go any further, so here's a good site with instructions for specific routers. Just find your model.
